Pop Singer - Pencil Drawing

Another portrait of a pop singer. The actual drawing was from my friend. This is supposed to be an african pop singer, the lips has to be more thick I guess.

I used charcoal, 6B, 2H pencil to finish this drawing. The hat took most of the charcoal. The mike and hand were real easy for me. Face was little difficult to get the african look, but somehow better than I expected.

As always, your comments are welcome to improve my skills.

Well now starts my sports edition drawing. This is the first one i tried on swimming.Does it look like a swimmer out of the pool? do you see the water drops? couple of my friends could not see the droplets.

I used only 6B and charcoal to draw this drawing. First time am fully satisfied with the hairs, came out naturally.

Kailasanathar Temple - Pencil Drawing

Well this is one of my favorite drawing. As soon as I finished this, one of my friend liked it, so gave the original copy to her, and she framed it to have it in her work station. Now another friend of mine, played around my drawing a little and showed all his creativity. The image is the original Kailasanathar temple in Kanchepuram. Soon I will upload my original scanned copy of this drawing in full resolution. I used HB and 2B pencil to draw this. View in all sizes

Anatomy in Drawing - Wierd analysis

Many of us have heard of hidden text or hidden images, but it was a surprise to me when I read this article. Really wierd one...

It was only after reading this article, I came to know about Michelangelo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michelangelo). I have seen many of his paintins, ofcourse not directly, but while browsing, but was really surprised to know about him. He is real genius to do such paintings.

The article which I was talking about is (http://journals.lww.com/neurosurgery/Fulltext/2010/05000/Concealed_Neuroanatomy_in_Michelangelo_s.1.aspx?WT.mc_id=HPxADx20100319xMP), where deep analysis were done on his paintings to find that he has implemented the structure of brain in his paintings. The actually dissected the brain to learn its structure and implement them in his paintings, ofcourse hidden, until otherwise we read this article.
